If you are sexually active or have been sexually active in the past, it is important to know your STI status to protect your health and the health of your sexual partners. With our test kit, you can check your current STI status to identify any infections early on and seek treatment if necessary.

Our test kit is easy to use; simply collect the swab samples and send your kit back to our lab using pre-paid return label. You will receive virtual results that provide you with all the information you need to understand your current STI status.

This test kit is ideal for age above 18 who is sexually active or has been sexually active in the past looking to understand their STI status, with or without the presence of symptoms.

When to Test:

You may want to know that some STIs can have an incubation period. After a suspected exposure, you might want to check with your doctor if you should take an STI test.Here are incubation periods for some common STIs: Chlamydia 7-21 days, Gonorrhea 1-14, days, Trichomoniasis 7-28 days

What's Measured:

• Chlamydia (genital, throat, rectal): common STI for people of all sexes, can damage the female reproductive system and make it difficult to get pregnant or have a healthy pregnancy. Female genital symptoms include abnormal vaginal discharge or burning when peeing. Male genital symptoms include discharge from the penis, burning when peeing, or pain or swelling in one or both testicles. Rectal symptoms include pain, discharge, or bleeding. Oral symptoms include sore throat, fever, swollen lymph nodes, oral sores, or white spots in the back of the throat. In many cases, no symptoms are present

• Gonorrhea (genital, throat, rectal): common STI for people of all sexes, can cause pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) in females and infertility in all sexes. If left untreated, can spread to the blood and cause disseminated gonococcal infection (DGI), a life-threatening condition. Female genital symptoms include abnormal vaginal discharge or bleeding between periods. Male genital symptoms include discharge from the penis or testicular pain. Rectal symptoms include pain, soreness, itching, discharge, or bleeding. Oral symptoms include sore throat, flu-like symptoms, swollen lymph nodes, or lesions in the back of the throat. In many cases, no symptoms are present

• HSV-2: STI also known as genital herpes, symptoms typically include painful genital or anal blisters or sores, but can include more serious illness in immunocompromised people, such as people living with HIV/AIDS

• Trichomoniasis: STI caused by a parasite that can cause pregnancy complications, allow other STIs to be transmitted more easily, and is associated with greater risk of certain cancers. Female symptoms may include abnormal discharge, genital redness or itching, painful abdomen or pain during urination. Male symptoms may include discharge from the penis or genital itching or burning especially during urination. In many cases, no symptoms are present

• Mycoplasma Genitalium: STI caused by bacteria that can cause inflammation of the urethra in all sexes, and inflammation of the cervix and PID (pelvic inflammatory disease) for females. Female symptoms may include abnormal discharge, pain during sex, bleeding after sex, bleeding between periods, or abdominal pain. Male symptoms may include discharge from the penis or pain during urination. In many cases, no symptoms are present

• HPV (Human Papillomavirus): STI caused by a virus that can be a short-term or long-term infection, long-term infection can involve genital warts or increased risk of certain cancers. Symptoms include warts that appear as flat lesions typically around the genitals or anus that are not painful but can be itchy or tender. In many cases, no symptoms are present

How It's Collected
